Our first complete USOLDER kit, the MAC3W features an easy to read PCB (Perforated Circuit Board) and all components and parts to build your own 3 watt guitar amplifier. Also available as a NO SOLDER harness for those who want to leave the soldering to us, the circuit features volume, tone and gain controls. Inputs for MP3 and DC power (USolder Kit only) as well as a headphone/ear bud output complete a great sounding flexible circuit for your next build.

Unlike the preset gain of our best selling MAH3 circuit, the MAC3W has variable gain so you can go from clean to down right dirty and everything in between. We also added an MP3/IPOD input so you can play along with your favorite tunes using a standard 3.5mm cable. Truly a full featured circuit, the MAC3W's PCB is just 50 X 35 mm so you can install in a small enclosure, travel guitar, amp-in-case creation, cigar box guitar, etc.

The MAC3W not only teaches basic amplifier circuit design but helps build soldering skills. The circuit board is clearly labeled with each component making assembly straight forward. A tip sheet with photos of a complete circuit and diagrams are included with the USOLDER kit.

The USOLDER Kit Includes:
LM386 IC

The MAC3W is designed as a mini amp circuit for use with small (2-6") low wattage (3 up to 10 watt) 4 or 8 ohm speakers. If used with large high wattage guitar, PA, car audio or stereo speakers distorted sound, overheating and permanent damage to the circuit may result! The suggested DC power supply is 9 up to 12V 500mA center (+) fully regulated however battery power (9V or 8 AA 12V) is recommended. Due to the wired components (potentiometers, input/output jacks & LED) for install flexibility hum can be present when a DC power supply is used. Potentiometers are 6mm split shaft. Knobs are not included!
